ESRP Chapter One

"I was born in Skyrim. And what I want is for you to get off of me."

D- Why did you attack us?

=The Altmer Mage kept watch for more potential attackers=

"One does not simply mess with a khajiit."

=The Altmer spoke up=

A- One does not simply walk into a cave and murder two people. A crime you will answer for before this night ends.

"Oh? And how do you suppose you will do that?"

=The wizard knelt beside the Khajiit and placed his hand on her stomach=

A- I have my ways.

=He let off a powerful Lightning spell, and sustained it for several seconds=

A- Are you ready to talk now?

I resist screaming and think in a mocking way after the question.

"I don't think so."

A- Then suffer.

=The Wizard puts his other hand on the Khajiit's stomach, and dualcasted the spell, sustaining it for almost 30 seconds=

A- You have the power to make this stop.

Again, I resist the urge to scream, which had been doubled at this point.

"Oh, So kind of you. Will you stop?"

=The wizard sighed, and charged his most powerful lightning spell, and dualcasted it. This time, he did not relent=

A- Any time now, Cat.

I let out a muffled scream, thinking of numerous ways to gouge out the mages' eyes.

"Fine! I heard you talking. You cannot expect to anger the cat and not get the claws."

=He continued the spell=

A- That still would not have given you reason to attack, unless it's true what they say about Khajiits.

I spit in the wizards face, fighting the scream again.

=The armored one dropped down to one knee next to the Khajiit and slapped her acorss the face, the guantlet leaving some deep gashes=

?- Just answer the Mage's questions. I don't enjoy this any more than you, so the sooner you either die or piss off the sooner we can get back to our cave.

"Then what gives you the divine right to torment travellers?!"

I struggle not to hiss, both from anger and pain.

=The armored one scoffed a bit=

D- Traveler, indeed. I'd be more inclined to call you an assassin. Or perhaps simply a murderer. A simple traveler would hardly think to wander off into the forest, off the trail, behind a rock, and firebomb two genuine travelers in a cave.

"Are you blind as well as dumb? Does this look like the armour of an assassin?"

D- I somehow doubt that a good Assassin would wear armor that shouts "I am an assassin". I would think the point of an assassin would be to remain inconspicuous, no? But this does not answer our question. Why. Did. You. Bomb. Us?

=The mage continued the spell=

I hiss in pain.

"Stop that damn spell and I will!"

=The Mage and the Armored one looked at eachother for a moment, then back to the Khajiit=

A- If you try to run, I will kill you.

=He stopped the spell=

I sigh, the relief was massive.

"You want to know why? Because I hold grudges. I do not like being toyed with. Also, can't you tell the armour of the Thieves Guild from that of the Brotherhood?"

=The Mage gave a look of confusion=

A- Grudges against who?

"Anyone who crosses me. And judging from your conversation, you crossed me."

D- Oh, that clears things up. Base a theory that someone crossed you solely on a conversation they were having. Sounds good to me.

=The mage was becoming more and more frustrated. Din continued to keep watch=

"And The fact th crossing happened only a few minutes ago."
