ESRP Chapter One

=The mage went to say something, but then in the blink of an eye ended up on his back. He got up and brushed the leaves off him=

A- What was that about..?

"Having fun?" I ask mockingly

=The Mage and the Armored one look around for what could have caused this=

D- Another mage, perhaps?

A- Unlikely...

"More people you've annoyed...?"

I sigh

"Rarely does anything good come from magic."

=The mage turned to the Khajiit and spoke before continuing to scan the area=

A- Silence, you.


=A few moments later, a Nord wearing leather pants and boots, a black shirt and tan jacket, with long scruffy blonde hair emerged from the treeline=

?- Greetings, travelers.

=He smirked a bit=

I felt soMething... Off About the newcomer.

"Well, I see you two have a guest... I'll just be going then...?"

A- not so fast, Khajiit. I still have questions for you.

=The Nord looked at the Khajiit=

?- Ah, I see you've found my pet. She's always getting into trouble. I hope she hasnt caused you too much grief. Come, kitty. We must be going.

=He stiffed a mocking laugh=

i hate you already...

"Of course."

I stand , giving a mock bow to my captors.

=The Mage and the Armored one looked at eachother briefly before looking back to the Nord=

A- Um.. Okay then. At least the pest will be out of our hair...

=The Nord smirked=

?- Indeed. She's actually quite nice, when you get to know her. Just a bit... Mischievous. At any rate, we must be getting along now, much to do.

As I approach the Nord, I whisper.

"Who are you?"

=The Nord nodded to the Mage and the Armored one=

?- Well, good evening to you both.

=He turned and walked with the Khajiit, whispering back to her=

?- Saving your hide, kitty.

=He smirks=

If only to kill you myself...

"Well, I really must be going now, thank you for the assisstance."

I begin to walk away

=He follows the Khajiit=

?- Don't think you're getting off the hook so easily, kitty.

=He paused=

Hundred Fists.

=In the blink of an eye, the Nord disappeared, and the feeling of a hundred punches would hit the Khajiit in seemingly absolutely no time at all. Then, before the very second had passed, the Nord reappeared on the other side of the Khajiit=

Something to remember me by, seeing as you so easliy forget my face.

I hunched over, the wind knocked out of me.

"I'll be sure to remember your face when I cut your purse..."

=He laughed aloud before kicking the Khajiit in the stomach=

Good luck with that, kitty.

I Roll with the kick, putting distance between myself and the nord. I stand, glaring at the nord.

"Who are you?"

=The Nord laughed again=

All of your nightmares!

=In the blink of an eye, a knife appeared a meter or so from the Khajiit, flying forwards towards her=

I duck under the knife, barely avoiding it, before I draw my own daggers to fight back.

=The Nord disappears again, and laughing can be heard in all directions=


=The Mage and the Armored one had by now gone back to their cave and got their fire going again=

Well, that was interesting.

The full extent of the damage done to me by that nord suddenly bears front, making me pass out.

==Hours pass, and Morning rises over Skyrim==

Gnaeus awoke early in the morning. The sun had not yet risen above the horizon. Their was a soft chill in the air. As he moved out of the bed, Soline murmured. He put his hand on her shoulder and squeezed gently, he had to go. The rain had let up during the night, the roads would be muddy and treacherous. He moved softly about the house, leaving with his charge without disturbing a soul. The morning air was brisk. He carried the crate to the wagon and heaved it into the back. He untethered his horse and tied the beast to the restraints. With a snap of the reigns they were off.

I jerk up from my bedrool and grab the axe that lay by it. I look around my tent and take a couple deep breaths. Calming myself down...
Another nightmare...
