(Nerim)
=i kept my hands low, but called on my will, holding it ready but not using it until it was needed. The water fell do the ground and rippled like usual, but there was a slight stiffness to it as I held it ready, but tried to hide it. I looked at the new person suspiciously=
Who are you?

Jeez, they were quite tense.
They both went for their weapons as soon as they saw him. It wasn't like he could do much, I was much better at escaping than fighting.
"I'm uh, I'm merely a traveller... a Peace Monger, you could say." I said, as I lowered my hands, my axe slipping into the small loop on my belt for it.

(Nerim)

A...Peace Monger?

"Erm, I mean no harm. I just want to achieve any of my goals through non-violent means." I say, smiling. I step forward a bit, highly intimidated.

(Nerim)
And what are your goals?

"Well, I started my journey in hopes of trying to help bring peace to these cursed lands, but..." I look back, and rub my neck. "That's been proven to be harder than I first predicted."

(Nerim)

It's a 1000 year old war. I doubt it's going to end just like that.

"Yes, but even gathering allies... doing anything. I suppose my goals aren't as well thought out." I sigh and pull out my axe, twirling it a little. "Perhaps being a little more... impressive could help."

When he pulled out his axe I pulled out my spear. I meant Malice. Anyway, I was just going to let Nerim do the talking.
I've learnt that he's better at that then I am.

(Nerim)
=i pull the water up off the ground, headache already beginning=

"Anything would help, I suppose. Maybe not being as meek, for starters." I say, smiling a bit, feeling awfully embarrassed around these seemingly well versed vagabonds.

=The cart screeches as the breaks kick into effect. It quickly slows until it reaches a full halt at a platform not unlike the one they departed from. The door opens, and Araedyr stands=

A- This is our stop. Come on, let's get going.

=He and Xazhi stepped out of the cart, some of the Skarrn waiting to board giving them funny looks=





=There could be heard from inside the Blacksmith's shop the toll of a hammer as it repeatedly struck a hot blade being made over an anvil. Suddenly, the huge Cubi, standing around 6'7", looked down at the stranger who had entered=

You seem pretty bold to me right now.

Eh. Not really. I was going to come and ask if you had any jobs, but I had just decided against it. I'm not really good with metal work.

He was a lot taller than me, which was quite unsettling. Back in the forest, I had control of the situation. Out here, I was lost.

=The Cubi moved the hot blade into a troph of water, steam bursting out as the singing of water on steel was heard. He turned back to the stranger, removing his thick leather gloves and folding them over his belt=

"Yes but I don't quite need to convince you two of anything... do I?" I look you both over, a little interested now. If these two intended to leep the war going, who knows, they might off me here and now.

Depends.... What is it and how much do I get?

I wanted to act like I knew about money and the like, otherwise he might have cheated me. We didn't have this currency back in the Tribes, but there was still dishonesty and cheating involved in trades.

"No, you don't need to. It's quite alright."

I look up to the sky, it was getting darker by the second.

"It's getting late."

We need to get food and a fire ready.

I look at the two, and then up, before speaking softly. "I can try and help if you need it." I smile at them, warmly.

You have fire magic?

well, I guess that he isn't going to try to kill us. So I just go back to growing the grapes.

=Araedyr walked up to a Guard Skarrn at the front of the Platform. They exchanged a few words in their language, and he signaled the group to continue on. He lead them down the street, around the corner turning North. They passed many buildings, including one with a carved sign above the door=

=The Cubi paused and looked down at the stranger. Something was odd about this one, but he could not tell quite what. He spoke again=

Help me with some miscellaneous things around the Forge, and I'll pay you for what you do. Hand me that Hammer off the wall.

=He pointed behind the stranger to a large Smithing Hammer leaning against the wall. It was about one and a half Swords in length, and heavier than anything any Rohgedyn would have ever lifted=
