ESRP Chapter One

Gnaeus shrugs. He knows that he'll be there by sundown. He's never had to communicate an estimated time to someone before.

"Okay."

I looked around, admiring the surrounding nature, I hadn't really done that much of well, viewing while I was walking.

"What makes you think that their traps work? Bandits are not difficult to kill."

I look around and lean in closer.

"Well if these friends of yours really want you dead, they may consider contacting the Brotherhood. And they are not bandits "

I also lean in.

"The Silver Hand are nothing more than bandits with fancy swords, and I doubt they have enough to hire the Brotherhood, most of them are drunks and Skooma addicts."

I tap my fingers on the table. I would rather get a job sooner than later.

"Well if you don't need a body guard, I can provide other services."

"Are you soliciting me, ma'am? Because I don't do that."

I stared at her, not sure if she was actually trying to do that.

I give him a deadpan look and burst out laughing.

"That's not what I had in mind."

I take another sip.

"Look buddy I'll be straight with you, you already told me enough to lead me to believe you're not running from these people. Which means you have another reason for being on the road. You pay some coin, I'll help you with whatever this problem is."

"Don't you think I've tried to hire people? Most go pale when I tell them what I'm hunting."

I lock eyes with her, deadly serious.

"Think you can face a Werewolf?"

I stare back into his eyes. My mind went back to a memory long ago when I was a little girl. My father was telling me a story of when he had to kill a werewolf. 'It ripped through 4 men, and almost got me.. It was one of the deadliest beast I've ever faced..'

"I'm up to the challenge.."

If my father did it, then I could too.

"Hm. Say that again when you see it kill."

I wasn't about to lose my money on someone who was likely to run away at the sight.

"You'll be paid after it's dead, understand?"

"Deal."

I shake his hand.

"So you got a lead on this werewolf?"

"No, but it's nearby. Otherwise the Silver Hand wouldn't be around here."

"Well what should we do? Flush it out? Try to track it down?"

I throw out some ideas.

"Sabrina Entius, at your service."

I hold out my hand.

After an hour of travel, and near mishaps, the cart finally pulled onto drier soils. There were a group of people, standing about the road not far ahead.

=They came to the Carriage. The Mage and the Armored one climbed into the back=

A- I am not sure.

I hesitate and then step into the carriage with them. I much preferred riding up front, but with my company sat in the rear...

Great. What about supplies?

I take her hand.

"Aren."

I looked ahead, noticing a group of people. I yawned, slightly tired after just sitting there for an hour.

"Any idea who they are?"

Gnaeus furrows his eyebrow and shakes his head. The cart slows to a crawl.

"I see."

I sat up, noting the carts slowing pace.

=walks around trying to find a way to leave helgen other then by walking=

gotta be someway to leave quickly

"Now... your plans to catch this thing?"

I tilt my head and look at him.

"Corner it, and slice it open with my sword."

I smirked in the corner of my mouth, it sounded insane, it was insane, but there was no other way I'd be happy about it being killed.
