It matters because of these weapons can hit us from anywhere and through anything, then it means we can't let our guard down.

I stand up and stretch.

I turn to the other two. The Py'ver and the other Sl'vesh.

Will you be joining us? You might actually learn some history.

=He turned around and looked back out the window=

I shrug and walk off to another door, opening it.

I walk through and into the small tunnel between the rooms.

=He sighed and continued staring out into the slightly less dark dark of morning. Suddenly, he heard something. Almost like a crackeling noise. He barely had time to shout and drop to the floor before a barrage of whatever hit his leg the first time tore through the room at around head-level=

DROP!

=i had started walking, then heard the Daemonil shout and I dropped just as the metal balls started to rip through the house=

=drops and rolls when the daemonil yelled

I turn to see a large chunk ripped out from next to the door. I sigh to myself and rub my eyes. I was tired, and not in the mood for combat. I walk back into the food room, opting for a slightly crouched position to avoid the balls.

Alright. History can wait, if we can save it. Anyone get the time between shots there?

=He spoke in a rather frustrated tone=

I'd say it was about the time it takes to not die.

=I shake my head, even though I doubt the Rog could see me=
No, I didn't. Too busy thinking about history.

Alright. When they reload, move rooms. Stay low and follow me, all of you.

I consider running for the reliquery to try to save a few of the items in there, but decide against it.

=He half crawls along the floor over to the others. The firing does not let up, almost as if at any time someone is loaded and ready to fire=

I would suggest killing them, if that's an option.

For now. We fall back. Get to a position where we are safer. Then we could make a push.

I dip my head up and look out of one of the holes for a second.

They've got three lines. First fires, second fires while first reloads, third while second reloads. Repeat.

Just like humans. Great.

=i look through one of the holes as well before pulling myself into a smaller ball as they fire again=

I duck as a few more balls shred the wall around me.

Alright. We need to go.

I lie down flat and begin crawling back towards the tunnel leading to the reliquery.

=tosses a piece of wood at a window shattering it=

=i drop flat and start to follow the Rog, trying to avoid any shrapnel piercings or surprise visits from those balls=

=He looks at the Rohgedyn=

There's a service hatch in the tunnel over there. It should take us down a ladder on the main support beam. We should be hidden from them there.
